Park Hyatt Vienna CHARM AND TRADITION
Inaugurated in 2014, the Park Hyatt Vienna is located in the city’s well-known Golden Quarter, the most exclusive shopping area, which in its turn is part of the First District, a UNESCO world heritage site.
The hotel occupies a magnificent building dating from the early twentieth century, which used to house the Bank of Austria. Important renovation work overseen by the Dutch interior designer F J Stijl turned it into a splendid hotel which retains the original fascination of its previous function as well as that of Viennese culture in general.
The hotel has beautiful and splendidly-decorated common areas and is a monument to both sumptuousness and elegance. The Arany Spa swimming pool, which was developed in the interior of the former vaults, is worthy of note. And not only that. The Royal Penthouse Suite, access to which is video-controlled and employs a fingerprint scanner, is to be found on the hotel’s top floor; with its 820 square metres of floor space, it is one of the largest and most prestigious suites in the world.
